Punakaiki is a small coastal town, located on the West Coast of New Zealand. Punakaiki is the service centre for the Paparoa National Park and best known for its Pancake Rocks and Blowholes. The Pancake Rocks are columns of limestone resembling stacks of pancakes. At high tide seawater is forced upwards through blowholes.
