Air New Zealand has been a client of New Zealand Tourism Online for several years with a listing on their Web site. More recently this was upgraded to include a banner campaign for increased exposure.
Air New Zealand is very selective in terms of who it places its online marketing with and after several months of testing verified New Zealand Tourism Online was a viable proposition.
The quantity of visitors it receives and its split between an international and local audience has resulted in good click through rates and online bookings for Air New Zealand.

Avis New Zealand have been involved with the NZ Tourism Online Web site now for almost three years. This Web site provides an extremely cost effective means of advertising for us in the form of banners which directly link through to the Avis booking engine.

Colin from New Zealand Tourism Online found it and made contact and suggested they could make changes which would help it work for me. I spent sometime with them and by the end of that working day Garry, Colin and co had it up and running. I have had regular on going enquires since that day. I write to congratulate you on the effectiveness of your website(s) as an advertising forum for hotels and boutique lodges. As a new entrant to the hotel market we have been working on a trial and error basis to determine the most effective use of our marketing budget.
After 18 months we have found many avenues, especially those based on the internet, to be ineffective. Your organisation stands out as a distinct exception to the rule however. We have had a good stream of enquiries from your sites that we advertise on, and more importantly a very good conversion rate to quality bookings for the hotel. Each day we are bombarded with emails requesting that we list our Web site with them (this is almost like spam mail—and is a constant pain). When you click through to view some of these sites they are not attractive, simply useless, and so difficult to navigate.
