Below are some of the frequently asked questions regarding the BookIt product. If you cannot find the answer to your question below, please contact us.

How do I get paid?

BookIt pays the net amount for any bookings to your nominated bank account, usually within 48 hours of the traveller's arrival. We will send a payment remittance and tax invoice to your email address when we make payment.

What does it cost to get setup?

Nothing, setup of your product on BookIt is free.

Where can I update availability or change rates?

It's easy, just go to https://www.bookit.co.nz/, enter your login details and choose the "Availability and Rates" option from the menu.

How do I change my product details?

You can change your details online by going to https://www.bookit.co.nz/. Alternatively, just send an email to support@bookit.co.nz and we'll be happy to help.

Do I have to load in an allocation?

Allocations are preferred as this allows us to give customers an "instant answer" when they are booking. However, an allocation is not a requirement and bookings can still be confirmed on request. We will send you an email with the customers booking details and you can either accept or reject the booking via a link in the email. If your product is being sold through multiple resellers we can share an allocation between all parties.

What if the customer cancels?

Your cancellation policy will be loaded in the system so that in the event of a cancellation the correct charges will be incurred to the customer. If the customer cancels by contacting you directly, please let us know so that we can process the customer's cancellation.

What happens when the customer arrives?

We provide an electronic voucher for customers which we recommend they print as a permanent record of their booking. We suggest customers present this on arrival to assist with the check-in process. We also recommend the customer's credit card details are recorded for any additional charges incurred during their stay.
