Gay Ski Week, Queenstown 2009

There's no better named place in New Zealand than Queenstown for a fun-filled week of skiing, snow and other activities specifically tailored for the gay community. You can join the hundreds of gay men and women from all over the world, heading to Queenstown for the seventh annual Gay Ski Week from 29th August to 6th September.

Every day the Pink Ski Bus will shuttle skiers directly from the hotel to Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, but there are also plenty of activities available for non-skiers to enjoy. Highlights of the week include:

• Welcome Party – Meet old friends and make new ones at the first party of the week
• Cowboy Dinner – Western-themed outfits are the order of the day at this wild west shindig
• Night skiing at Coronet Peak – On Friday night, Coronet Peak's M1, Shirtfront and Big Easy ski trails will be fully flood-lit from top to bottom, catering to every level of ability. Skiers and snowboarders can romp away under floodlights and stars
• Karaoke Casino Night – See if you can get lucky with a song-filled night at the casino
• Big Gay Out Adventure Days – Thrill-seekers can dive headfirst into Queenstown's adrenalin scene with activities such as skydiving, bungy jumping and jet-boating.
• White-Out Party – Don't forget to pack an all-white outfit for the party finale of the week
