Relax in the affordable luxury of our 3 bedroom, self contained cottage located in spacious gardens within view of the Dunstan Ranges. Featuring 2 Queen Rooms and 1 Twin Room, full kitchen facilities, and a lovely landscaped garden area with sundeck, the Cottage provides the ideal Home away from Home.
We also offer five affordable motel studio units (one with disabled facilities), which are complete with ensuite and private courtyard. Sleeping between 2 - 4 people in each unit, our motel units are upmarket and comfortable with beautiful views.
All our accommodations include free WiFi, e-bike charging, and a complimentary Continental Breakfast.
Nicky's Place is located just steps from the famous Otago Central Rail Trail, shops and the Omakau Country Pub with it's excellent menu and local wine selection.
The Otago Central Rail Trail is New Zealand's longest rail trail and follows the old Central Otago branch railway line from Clyde to Middlemarch. Accessible all year round, the trail is dedicated to cyclists, walkers and horse riders and is entirely off road . No motorised vehicles are permitted on the trail at any point.
Nicky's Place is ideally situated for a stay along the rail trail. We offer safe bike storage facilities, local information and help, and can provide pick-ups and drop-offs by arrangement.
