Waipara Valley Vineyard Trail
Developed proudly by the Hurunui Trails Trust is the newly opened Waipara Valley Vineyard Trail. This trail is located in Waipara Valley, a sub region of the Hurunui District, New Zealand.
As you pass through the region, ensure that you visit some of the world-class vineyards, historic farms, cellar doors, and dine at winery restaurants that are found throughout the region.
The trail is designed for cyclists, walkers, joggers - young and old, and the surface is suitable for mountain bikes and is of variable quality. The track is still a work in progress so if you'd like to help create bigger and better trails, please donate!
You can also experience Greening Waipara Biodiversity Trails, visit the historical steam train at Weka Pass Railway and other activities in the area. The views across the valley to the main divide are truly remarkable.
