Created with flexibility in mind, the Pavilions Hotel encompasses a range of ninety-two rooms, suites, apartments and cottages across independent wings. All the room choices offer a range of kitchen facilities providing the option of self catering as well as all the comforts of home - hairdryer, ironing board and iron, soft cotton bed linen, electric blankets, coffee and tea making facilities, mini bar, microwaves, fridges, reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioning units, free WIFI and parking and flat screen TV's with 50+ premium satellite channels plus much more. Leisure facilities include the pool, spa, sauna and fitness centre and for the corporate traveller, meeting rooms, business centre and secretarial services are on hand. We have an on-site Restaurant, Bar and Courtyard area filled with memorabilia for our guests to relax or dine in. Our rooms can be booked exclusively for wedding parties, tour groups, conferences, families or the individual traveller and we have paraplegic suites available as well as rooms with spa baths. With a 24 hour Reception service and a 24 hour Room Service menu we are available any time of the day or night regardless of your travel itinerary.
Standard Studio – These studio units are our most affordable with room for up to 4 people depending on the bed configurations (Q/QQ/Q+S), currently we have some older style studios and some newly renovated studios with new cabinetry, wardrobes and bathrooms.
Superior Studio – These studio units have the luxury of being larger than our standard rooms. They can accommodate up to 3 people with a queen and single bed in some while others have only a queen bed and couch configuration.
Executive Spa Studio – These studio units have the luxury of being larger than our standard rooms and have a spa bath in the bathroom. They can accommodate up to 3 people with a queen and single bed in some while others have only a queen bed and couch configuration.
Superior Deluxe Studio – These deluxe studios have the most space of all our studio rooms. They have only one queen bed and are the latest of our recently completed full room renovations. With new tiled bathrooms these units also boast new room cabinetry with desks, drawers, wardrobes and kitchenettes.
Executive Deluxe Spa Studio – These deluxe studios have the most space of all our studio rooms. They have only one queen bed and are the latest of our recently completed full room renovations. With new tiled bathrooms with spa baths these units also boast new room cabinetry with desks, drawers, wardrobes and kitchenettes.
One Bedroom Suite – These suites are perfect for guests who prefer the luxury of a larger room with a kitchenette and lounge area for added comfort or for a meeting area. Some have the ability to have a second bedroom added with an interconnecting door between rooms.
Two Bedroom Hotel Room – Newly renovated, these are the most affordable of our two bedroom units for families. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a large lounge room for relaxing and watching TV in, with the kitchenette, bedrooms and bathroom off this main area.
Deluxe Two Bedroom Apartment – Newly renovated, these are the most spacious and luxurious of our two bedroom apartments for families. We have our newly renovated units that have new kitchenettes, cabinetry, flooring and bathrooms, and our older units that have plush lounge suites and full dining room tables. The main bedroom in each of these apartments has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.
Cottages – With three onsite cottages available, each cottage has full kitchen facilities including dishwashers, large dining rooms and lounges, air conditioners and washing machines. These are perfect for families, groups or individuals wanting the comforts from home. Cottage 1 has 2 reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioning units and 2 bathrooms. Cottage 2 has 1 reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioning unit and 1 bathroom. Cottage 3 has a reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioning unit and 2 bathrooms with a third toilet in the laundry.
Conference Rooms – We have two conference rooms available - the smallest is our Webb room which can accommodate up to 25 attendees in various room configurations and the largest of our two conference rooms being the Terrace room, which can accommodate up to 50 attendees in various room configurations. We also offer free equipment hire, free tea and coffee on arrival and very competitive room hirage pricing or free room hire with 10 nights booked accommodation, as well as a full range of refreshment and menu packages available.

Pavilions Hotel Christchurch has a number of meeting rooms, outlets and semi private spaces available for all occasions. We have an experienced and dedicated events team trained to cater to your individual requirements. We offer complimentary conference amenities including blackout curtains, note pads and pens, teleconferencing, clothing rails, unlimited WIFI, controlled lighting, large LCD television with HDMI compatibility, lectern, flip charts, whiteboard and markers, fully air conditioned - heated, ceiling mounted projector and screen. There is a range of catering options available depending on your conference length and needs.
The Webb Room - Located on the first floor (no lift available), the Webb Room is the smallest of our three conference areas. Measuring 23sq metres or 247.5sq feet, this room is able to hold a maximum of 20 people in various seating arrangements and 25 people standing in a reception style capacity.
The Terrace Room - Located on the first floor (no lift available), the Terrace Room is the largest of our three conference areas. Measuring 75sq metres or 807sq feet, this room is able to hold a maximum of 50 people in various seating arrangements and 60 people standing in a reception style capacity.
The Courtyard - Located on the ground floor, the Courtyard and Bar is the more relaxed of our three conference areas. Measuring 62sq metres or 667sq feet, this room is able to hold a maximum of 50 people in various seating arrangements and 100 people standing in a reception style capacity. Jimmy's Restaurant is located on the ground floor and is available for standing reception style groups and measures 46.5sq metres or 500sq feet.
