Flying to a Great Ride - new Air Chathams Motu Trails packages
Air Chathams is making it easy to fly from Auckland to Whakatane to experience the Motu Trails and all it offers.
The airline has teamed up with Bushaven's Motu Trails Hire & Shuttle and Ohope Beach Resort to offer packages on the Motu Trails, one of the Great Rides on the New Zealand Cycle Trail.
Riders or hikers will get picked up from Whakatane airport and taken to either Bushaven or Ohope Beach Resort to settle in then be shuttled to the trail the next morning.
There are all-meals-included and self-catering package options. Hire bikes are available, or bring your own. For the next couple of months, one flight can even be on the airline’s stunning DC3 - a flight back through the years.
