Located within Auckland city limits, the small beach resort town of Omaha lies on the east coast of the Omaha Bay about 75 kilometres north of the Auckland city centre. The town is on a sandspit off the Tawharanui Peninsula. The sand spit separates Whangateau Harbour from Omaha Bay. Warkworth is the closest significant town and is about 17km to the east. more
