Te Ara Tahuna Estuary Cycleway and Walkway is located at Orewa Beach, just 20 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge. The walkway is 7.58km around the Estuary and is mostly flat, with some sloped areas. The pathway is accessible and has been designed to be a shared space, for cyclists, parents with strollers, mobility devices and children.
Orewa Beach is the gateway to the Hibiscus Coast, just 20 minutes north of Auckland's harbour bridge. Orewa Town Centre offers some fantastic accessible facilities like ramped access to Orewa beach, and only metres away from the beach access are cafes, restaurants and the main shopping precinct. There are numerous accessible parks dotted throughout the CBD area.
