Ninety Mile Beach
Ninety Mile Beach is a world famous beach located on the western coastline of the Far North, in the Northland region of New Zealand. It stretches from west of Kaitaia all the way along the coast to Cape Reinga at the top of the North Island. Despite its name, 90 Mile Beach is actually only about 55 miles long. more
The beach and its northern sand dunes are a popular tourist attraction. The dunes look much like a desert landscape and are often used for sand boarding.
