Rotorua City Campervan, Motorhome & RV Sites
Rotorua is a city on the southern shores of Lake Rotorua in the heart of the North Island of New Zealand. The majority of the Rotorua District is in the Bay of Plenty Region, but a sizable southern section and a small western section are in the Waikato Region.
Rotorua has the nickname Sulphur City, because of the hydrogen sulphide emissions, which gives Rotorua a "rotten eggs" smell.
Mobile-friendly - Waikite Valley Thermal Pools is a unique place to come and experience the 'Living Waters' of the Te Manaroa Spring - the largest single source of 100% pure boiling water in New Zealand. Pools to enjoy include the Settlers Pool and luxurious tranquil garden pool. Adjoining the pool complex is a 20-site campground with shower, laundry and kitchen facilities.
