Karamea Beach and Coastal
Karamea is a coastal town located some 100 kilometres north of Westport, on the wild West Coast. The Oparara Basin Arches, large natural river tunnels, are located in Karamea. Karamea is located 96km north-east of Westport and is the northern most settlement of a reasonable size on the West Coast.
Gentle Annie Seaside Accommodation is located halfway between Westport and Karamea. From secluded houses and lodging surrounded by native bush, overlooking the ocean (set up so that it feels like you're the last on earth), to a seaside campground—kiwi camping as it used to be.
