WESTLAND TAI POUTINI NATIONAL PARK - West Coast (South Island)
Westland Tai Poutini National Park is located in 'glacier country' on the west coast of New Zealand. Dramatic contrasts mark with area with dense rainforests, grasslands, steep forested slopes, glaciers (Fox Glacier and Franz Joesph Glacier are the most well known), scenic lakes and rivers. The spectacular State Highway Six weaves its way through the edge of the park.
