Events are free and open to the public. However, to get to the better viewing areas, your may need to purchase a lift pass. Parking may be an issue with the expected number of spectators, so you are encouraged to carpool or catch a shuttle that runs daily from Queenstown and Wanaka.
Off the slopes, the town will be grooving to the sounds of a selection of New Zealand's best musical talent. There will be four nights of urban roots, rock, hip hop and drum 'n bass at the Lake Wanaka Centre.
