Our accommodation in Wellington is close to Upper Hutt, with its restaurants, cinema, golf course, racecourse and leisure centre (swimming). Tranquility's Wellington homestay is also close to the confluence of the Hutt and Akatarawa Rivers—an area noted for its fishing.

Nestled in approximately one acre of native bush and gardens, surrounded by the song of the tuis, the inquiring fantails and presence of the wood pigeons, our homestay accommodation near Wellington offers you comfortable, warm and friendly hospitality.

Directions – Just off State Highway 2 motorway, Akatarawa turn off, 1.3 kilometres down Akatarawa Road. Approximately 200 metres past the dairy and on the right (white gate) is Tranquility Homestay.

We will be waiting to welcome you.

Transport – We can, by prior arrangement and at an extra minimal cost, provide transport for you between here and Wellington Airport, the ferry terminal and the railway station.
