Ski Season: June to October
Fields: New Zealand offers ski and snowboard enthusiasts a great variety of commercial or club fields. Commercial fields offer snowmaking, state of the art snow grooming, cafes, gear rental facilities and more. Club fields are often less crowded but offer fewer facilities. Fields are maintained by their ski club and facilities often include rope tow or T-bar lifts only with generally no snow grooming.
Lift Pass Prices: All-day lift passes for commercial fields are on average NZ$75.00 per adult. Club fields are about NZ$40.00.
Transfers/Ski Packages/Accommodation: Mountain transfers are usually available from main centres and many ski fields have accommodation on or close to the slopes.
