(Northland - Bay of Islands - Accommodation)
My niece is getting married in NZ and my brother and I are planning to travel from Canada. She has suggested we go to the Bay of Islands. Looking for reasonably priced accomodation and inexpensive activities. Not interested in tourist type things to do; want to learn about history and enjoy outdoors (hiking, kayaking, etc.)
