Wellington Jazz Festival 5th - 8th March
Sit back, de-stress and enjoy the soulful melodies and grooves of international jazz musicians during a world-class jazz, soul and funk weekend in Wellington. With shows in four central city locations, the international and local line up includes: Bernie McGann, Brad Mehldau Trio, Eric Bibb, Fat Freddys Drop and many more.
Wellington is a great place to see films, ballet and theatre and visit the national museum, Te Papa. And when you've had your fill of culture, you can stroll down to the landscaped waterfront and enjoy its shops and restaurants. Or cruise on out of the city and explore the rugged coastline of the western Kapiti Coast.
What are you waiting for? Take your time and discover Wellington.
Ellerslie Flower Show, Christchurch 11th - 15th March
After enjoying the vibe in Wellington, why not head down to Christchurch on the South Island? During the 11th to 15th March, you can stroll around the shady gardens of Hagley Park in the central city and visit the international flower show. Christchurch's heritage will be showcased in a unique horticultural homage and other displays will feature local and international horticultural talent.
Off the Beaten Track to... Invercargill
Heading down to the southern 'wop-wops' gives you the opportunity to explore Invercargill and the Southland region on New Zealand's South Island. A truly exceptional region of New Zealand for travellers with particular interests in bird-watching, nature, fishing, hunting and walking...
New Zealand's Hot Pools & Health Spas
Wash away your worries, soak away your strains and spoil yourself rotten with a long, relaxing bathe in one of New Zealand's beautiful hot pools or health spas.
