Paul has extensive experience in the New Zealand tourism industry in sales and marketing roles and has family ties in the field dating back to 1879!
With a career initially focused on the coordination of special event / group travel itineraries, Paul has, since 2002, focused on marketing New Zealand tourism businesses to the ever increasing number of travellers to this country via a range of New Zealand Tourism Guide products and services.
When Paul isn't working, there's a good chance you'll find him pedaling around The Port Hills in Christchurch on his mountain bike.
Grant has had a long association with the New Zealand Tourism industry with many years of airline and travel experience in marketing, customer service and travel agency roles. Previous roles include Group Travel Manager for a NZ sports tour operator developing product and special interest tours including Cricket and Rugby World Cup Events.
Grant has an excellent understanding and knowledge of the New Zealand travel market and the niche role New Zealand Tourism Guide plays in it.
Outside interests include heritage rail operations, wine and growing fig and citrus trees in the Christchurch climate.
Desley is proud to say she has worked for New Zealand Tourism Guide since 2000 and has seen plenty of development to the www.tourism.net.nz website over the years. This also applies to how travellers have taken to the many technology changes that have shaped travel over the years including the explosive use of mobile.
With a keen interest in seeing all parts of New Zealand, Desley and her husband opted to sell up and travel the country in a specially designed house bus. This gives a new meaning to 'taking your work with you'.
Colin has held a variety of positions in various industries including banking, mechanics, tour bus driving and as a business owner. He is passionate about New Zealand and the environment and has been known to hold up a placard or two from time to time (he's got plenty of interesting stories).
With many years of experience behind him Colin knows a business works because of the people behind the business.
Donna emigrated to New Zealand with her family from England in 2015. She competed as a gymnast for England and later Great Britain. Her experience in sales saw her in many roles including a leisure village and fitness manager.
As online digital marketing increased across the UK, Donna began working for Kcom, a Google Partner selling Google Adwords as a Key Account manager offering tailored solutions for a variety of businesses. Donna has continued in New Zealand in the tourism digital world but now resides in what she says (and we agree) is the most beautiful country in the World.
