Papatoetoe Museums

Papatoetoe is a suburb of Auckland. Located about 19 kilometres from the Auckland CBD, it is one of the larger suburbs in the South Auckland district. The Maori name, Papatoetoe, loosly translates as 'undulating are where toetoe grows in abundance'. Toetoe is a native grass-like bush with tall feather-like drooping flowers.
