MOUNT ASPIRING NATIONAL PARK - West Coast (South Island)
Mt Aspiring National Park is located at the southern end of the West Coast in the South Island. It's the third largest park and part of Te Wahapounamu - Southwest New Zealand World Heritage Area. The park contains mountains, glaciers, river valleys and alpine lakes. It's ideal for short walks and is the location for Isengard (Lord of the Rings).
