Black flies or sanflies

I would like to know what part of the year are the sandflies or black flies prevalent. We will be coming in early March 2018 for 3 weeks.

They are always around but would be more prevalent in summer. You can get insect repellent so you don't get bitten by sandflies. It also depends where you are going, in regards to how many sandflies their are. The more remote you are, the more sandflies may be about.
