Kaikoura road open in January?

Hello I'll be travelling in a camper van from Christchurch up to Picton in January 2018 and want to know if the coast road from Christchurch to Kaikoura and then on to Picton will be open fully , 24 hours a day at this time ? I already asked you but forgot to tell you that I was coming in January and not now . Could you let me know please as I'd love to travel this way . Thanks
