Walk on the North Island similar to Queen Charlotte Track

I am looking for a walking holiday on the North Island similar to the Queen Charlotte track where we can walk from one hotel to the next night's stop in another hotel.

Here is a link to walks and tramps around New Zealand: http://www.doc.govt.nz/mustseewalks. I do not have information about which ones you can walk to hotels sorry, but you could contact DOC and ask them.
