Liew Shen Pow - 19th Sep, 2017
Planning for 3Ns at Mount Cook. If my period of travel say 1-3/9/18:i) Will the snow still be heavy or less?ii) How is the road condition? Will it still be icy and I have to put on the tyre chain?iii) How is the accommodation rates?

That is the start of spring, so their is still the possibility of snow. If their is a heavy snowfall chains may be required, but you will most likely not require chains and the roads will be fine. You will need to check accommodation websites for their rates, as prices will vary depending on where you are looking at staying.
