Public Transportation between Tekapo
(Mt Cook and MacKenzie Country - Bus and Coach Services)
Hello there, I am in a tricky situation and in need of a good advice.I am planning to go to Tekapo, then go to Queenstown the next day and I have booked my hotels to stay overnight for these two places as well. The problem is one hotel which I have booked is located in Geraldine. According to my intercity bus timetable, I will be in Tekapo around 12pm. So basically I need to know if there is a public transportation service traveling between Tekapo and Geraldine during night

From what I can gather, the short answer is no. I'm only aware of two overnight buses, but one is in the North Island, and the other is in the South Island, but it only travels down the coast.
You could try your luck and visit this link and contact some of those bus lines?
