New Zealand weather, temperature and customs

Hi there, My friends and I are going to New Zealand (both North and South Island) during early March 2018 for a holiday. Hope you can provide me with details with regards to the temperature and weather we should expect as different sources have been giving us different answers. Also, may I ask what kind of medicines I am allowed to bring into the country? Such as fever medicines or digestive pills etc. Thank you

Our weather page provides a rough indication of what you can expect during March. In a nutshell, it's Autumn here, so the days can still get quite warm with cooler temperatures expected overnight. In some places, overnight frosts may happen.
