Disabled accommodation

I have just found your fantastic NZ Tourist Guide and have started to use it to plan a 2017 two-week holiday around the North Island with my wife who is in a wheelchair.However I am getting very frustrated when I ask for disabled accommodation and I get a list of places which mainly do not mention which rooms, if any, are suitable for disabled people.
