Driving from Blenheim to Christchurch

I am planning for the driving route from Blenheim to Christchurch for my mid Feb 2018 trip, but i always the following notice:NOTE: Due to damage to the road between Kaikoura and Blenheim, this road is currently closed. The main route now between these townships is to take the Lewis Pass through Springs Junction. This will take approximately 6 hours. Check out driving distances by using the driving distance calculatorMay I know if SH 1 highway is currently stilled closed? If so, when would the road re-open?
