I have a lot of driving experience in Singapore-over 40 years.I will be renting a car in Greymouth and driving to various places in the south island in Mid May.How is the driving conditions in Mid May and I have read that I may require chains. I am not used to driving with chains.Will it be difficult to drive in mid may?
