Hi I do a fair bit of Via Ferrata in Europe 99% of the time most places its free and have noticed that in New Zealand Queenstown you need to pay. is there any climbs for free around ? Thank you. Robbie

Check the ClimbingNZ.ORG website. It seems like a fairly good resource for climbers. We at NZTG do not have any specific information about where you can climb for free.
