Q
June in New Zealand?
( New Zealand - Weather)
My wife and I are planning a trip next year in June and we are wanting to visit the North and South islands. Being that it is the winter time in June in NZ, we are wondering if places are accessible and open to visit like sanctuaries and some cities. Also we are wondering if boat tours are operating to White Island in June. What is the weather like in the North and the South in June? Which airport should we fly into that would give us the best start to our trip?

Yes places will all be accessible and open, however as it is winter there is a small chance some road may be closed due to snow. They don't stay closed for long, as they would get cleared. Yes you can still take a tour to White Island in June. Any of the international airports will be a good place to start if you are wanting to travel around both the North and South Island.
