christchurch railway station to christchurch international airport

Hi my husband and i have a quick turnover time between tranzalpine arrival in christchurch 6.15 pm on a wednesday and an international flight at christchurch airport that leaves at 9pm so checkin probably 6.30 to 7pm. What is the safest and best way to manage transport for 2 people without delays and minimal stress please. im unsure re traffic and taxis etc.

The safest and best way would be to book an airport shuttle as they would make sure you are there on time or you could book a taxi.
