Maximum age for car rental

Gentle persons:I am considering taking a trip to NZ. However, I will not unless I can get a rental car. Is there a maximum age for renting a car in NZ?Why isn't it easy to determine whether there is a maximum age?

I do not know of any maximum age restrictions. You would of course have to hold a current drivers license. You could email the car rental company you are thinking of using and just check with them.
