Hogmanay (New Year's Eve) in Auckland

We are a Scottish couple who, this year, will be in Auckland on New Year's Eve and would like to know of a few good places to go to view the fireworks. This is our first visit to New Zealand, so any information would be very much appreciated.Ideally we would like, if possible, to experience a dinner cruise or formal dining followed by viewing the fireworks.
