Arthur's Pass
Arthur's Pass is a small village nestled at the base of the Southern Alps, as well as a mountain pass connecting the wild West Coast with the Canterbury region. Named after Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson, Arthur's Pass is nestled amongst the beautiful scenery of brooding mountains and is the base for exploring Arthur's Pass National Park. Stay at Arthur's Pass Village and check out Castle Rock or take on the more challenging Cave Stream. more
Arthur's Pass allows access to New Zealand's wild West Coast and it is well worth the trip to check out not only the scenery but the gold mining history and more.
